RE: Otis MCS 321 PC boards and Duplexing

You can purchase all these boards from LCL Lift Components Ltd in the UK

http://www.liftcomponents.co.uk/otis.htm

Tel:+44 20 7515-5504

Unless you need new EPROMS and EEPROM you do not need any extra firmware. You should be able to simply swap the existing IC's over to the new boards. However, if you need to make any parameter changes, you will need a Service Tool or an Emulator Program.

I found an emulator program at this address, it works very well with all OTIS equipment and is advertised elsewhere on this forum.

There are also plenty of ex OTIS guys on this forum who will help you out with specific data if you need it. You just may have to wait a little while for a reply.

PS: If you get the usual brainwashed jerks from OTIS trying to mouth you off, just ignore them. No-one ever takes much notice of them anyway (small things amuse small minds etc).

Hope this helps.

John.

You may not find the part listed on the Web site, but call them and they will supply you with New Orginial OEM Parts. (OTIS I believe owns them)!

Never heard of a 321. Is it a european version only? Does it have another designation like GEM etc?
