Otis 211 info?

greenspun.com : LUSENET : Elevator Problem Discussion : One Thread

I am looking for information about some boards in the 211 system. I've been told that the boards in question are referred to in the field prints as: NRSEB32, RS3, RS3A, RS4A, RS5, and RS14. Anyone with information about these boards, their function, and where I could get them would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

All the RS boards are serial link boards. They work just like any other companies serial link. Imagine it as the USB port on your computer. Same basic strategy, only it turns on and off outputs, and reads inputs rather than moves tons of data.
