What is best for communication with a T4, Tandy 100,Hyperterminal,ProCom and what cable are you using just null modem or special cable. Thanks for the help Jim

You can use hyperterminal and get faults, change parameters, review parameters, clear faults, and(I think) run the tests for the T4. It has been a while since I played with T4, but I think it just takes a 9 to 25 cable in the serial port. I,m sure that ProCom would also work. I think that 9600,8,none,1 are the correct settings.
