Acceleration

I would like to know what acceleration should be considered for an uncontrolled (single speed) A/C machine-cabin speed 120 fpm ?

Thanks.. Harsh

By your own definition, the acceleration is uncontrolled.

Therefore the acceleration will depend on the mass of the system and the available torque from the motor.

If there is truly no control and the motor has adequate torque for operating purposes, thr rate of acceleration will be pretty darn fast.

This is why most such systems have starting resistance and/or flywheels to smooth out the operation.

try the "soft start",easy to install and we´ve got excellent acceleration response. ivan
