thanks for response

Thanks to Joe M., Don V., and Glenn S. for their replies. After further review, before I got the account, it seems that the machine in question had a bit of a fire, melted brush rigging, com to ground, that kind of thing. After the incident a motor rebuild shop came in and rewound and did the com and rigging in place. Fuses were tossed-in and it was released to the public. There were many problems that attributed to the amptraps blowing and eventually mainline breakers blowing. The main points of interest ended up being the brake, it's time and voltage, DSD, some NTS trouble and some speed settings. Most focus on brake. Thanks again for your response. -- dave
