On Sunday night, the Art Bell program (Dreamland) starts at 9pm eastern time. Warren Bone claims to be a y2k expert. I think he writes articles for the Westergaard site. There are other guests scheduled, so I don't exactly what time he will come on. I would guess around 9:30 eastern. The program run until 12:00 eastern.

Warren Bone's Biography:

Warren Bone initiated the Year 2000 Project in mid-1996 for Gaylord Entertainment Company (NYSE: GET), an international company headquartered in Nashville, Tennessee, with over 60 operating companies. He directed and managed the project for over three years and has dedicated his time to the research and activities related to Year 2000 issues since mid-1996.

He has over 25 years experience in Information Technology (including management, systems engineering, design, and development), public accounting, strategic planning, contingency planning and disaster recovery, marketing, product management, business consulting, computer security and crime prevention, and Year 2000.

He earned his Master of Business Administration degree following his undergraduate degree in accounting. His Year 2000 studies include daily research of more than 70 selected Y2K web sites, including those of the U.S. government.

For what it's worth, I sent a copy of this article to a few DGI friends back in October. It caused two of them to make some preparations. Based on Mr. Bone's summary of his article, it is unlikely that he has modified his position to any extent. Should be a good show tonight!

If however, he is now appearing on Art Bell's show, his credibility will automatically be called into question.

This is strange. How does one reconcile the two?

FM, Peter de Jager's forum (under "Archives") contains predictions by Warren S. Reid, but I didn't see anything by Warren Bone.

As to why Warren Bone would appear on Art Bell, perhaps he felt that this would allow his view to be heard without its being edited, taken out of context or misrepresented, all of which seem to be standard operating procedure among the "reputable" media.

Yep, I'm sure that Mr. Bone would have appeared on Good Morning America, if asked, or (hehe) Oprah. I guess if the Bell show hurts his credibility then at this date it is a price he is willing to pay if it leads a few more folks to batten down their hatches. Tough decision for anyone, as we saw when Mr. CEO went through his delima as well.

I will listen tonight to see if anyone refutes Mr. Bone. The messenger is always shot, just like Gary North. But I'm glad I listened to the kook that night at 2:00 a.m. in the morning 2 years ago and I haven't looked back. I thank those "kooks" for everything they have done, they have saved many lives.
