I have bought a electrical buisness that maintains 3 elevators. 1 oilhydro, 1 hydro, and 1 traction. I need to find out what kind of packing rope to use in the hydros and what kind of oil to use in the oilhydro. Also the traction elevator has a problem with it stopping at the proper place on the floors. It is an otis type 20-A0D. It stops low on the first floor and high on the second floor (about 3 inches). The owner says that it changes from winter to summer. Outside of adjusting the the stops on the rails, I was wondering if there is a brake adjustment tourque setting got these? Seems that at the moment the brakes are applied to late and it slides past the stopping point. I would apprecitate and info on these matters. Thanks Humble new guy. Pat
