Hello

I have gone though the Senate Report and formatted the information so it is HTML friendly. Unfortunately I have decided not to include the graphics so one would have to see the Senate PDF files to get the graphics. (Not that there are many). The only graphic I included was the assessment on the Executive Summary.

Also as I am a Canadian the US Government file is not converted. Possibly a US forum member could reformat that file.

The Senate Report is the closest we are going to get for a big picture of the Y2K (Century Date Change) problem. They have done their job of compiling the information now it is necessary for folks to communicate the challenges to those that aren't fully aware of the issues.

As Senator Bennett and Senator Dodd have pointed out this issue goes beyond the Iron Triangle. It will hit the individual, family, community, region, and countries around the world. We will not know the affects until next year but that is no reason for people to sit on their hands. This information has to be communicated and people will have to assess their situation. Y2K in large part is a matter of location, location, location. Alot of the affects are going to be in the community and it is up to the members of the community  to make their own judgments.

So communicate the information that is provided, print it out, Email links, set up a web page. Do your part to spread the information.

"IF YOU'RE GOING TO STOCKPILE ANYTHING, STOCKPILE INFORMATION."

       SENATOR BENNETT

Good Luck in your preparations for a safe Y2K.
