National Parks own & operated by UN???

greenspun.com : LUSENET : TimeBomb 2000 (Y2000) : One Thread

Is that true? I heard it somewhere & looking for source I can access on the net. I thought I read about it on this forum, but can't locate in the archives. Does anyone know where I can find it? My brother is coming over this afternoon & I want to show him. He is visiting from Illinois & I was telling him about it yesterday, but don't have the facts & don't remember the details. I would appreciate any help on this.

Still preparing for worse case scenario......Carol Ann

The American Land Sovereignty Protection Act HR883 will come to the House floor on Wednesday (5/19) or Thursday (5/20).

Originally introduced by Representative Don Young (R-Alaska) HR883 is a response to critical issues of land use planning and private property rights.

HR883 calls upon Congress to exercise its constitutional authority by reviewing all current and future Biosphere Reserve and World Heritage Site designations. (These are in National Parks - nz)

Biosphere Reserves and United Nations designated World Heritage Sites were created originally for seemingly innocuous environmental protection and preservation. However, their subsequent management has, in many instances, usurped the private property of American citizens. All this is done without Congressional approval. The Executive Branch through Departments of State, Interior, and others have applied UN regulations to private and public land though Congress had not approved the action. Please note that the United Nations does not own the land though you may have received reports of this.

HR883 will require Congressional approval for such land regulations and will hold executive branch departments accountable.

ACTION NEEDED

Carol Ann,

>National Parks own & operated by UN??? >Is that true?

No, it is not true.

See Open Letter to Concerned Citizens, written by Roger E. Soles, Ph.D., Executive Director, U.S. MAB Program at http://www.usmab.org/sovereignty.html (MAB stands for "Man and Biosphere".)

>I thought I read about it on this forum, but can't locate in the archives. Does anyone know where I can find it?

One of the earlier threads in which this was discussed was 41 state parks closed? at http://www.greenspun.com/bboard/q-and-a-fetch-msg.tcl?msg_id=000qCD (Some people expand this rumor to include state parks as well as national parks.)

I visited the Great Smoky Mountains last year. I took a picture of the Entrance Sign. It clearly shows the words..."International Biosphere Reserve". It used to be a National Park. International means UN!!!!

The American Land Sovereignty Protection Act passed the House and is now in the Senate as S. 510. http://thomas.loc.gov/ The bill needs co-sponsors.

Read about the U.S. Biosphere program on http://www.snowcrest.net/siskfarm/biosph.html Yes, it does include state parks

A good Christian friend of mine tells us that his family was at one of the big National parks last summer, Yosemite I think, and the guards at the gate were wearing UN insignias on their blue uniforms, with those UN style hats. He just wouldn't lie about a thing like that to us. He could have been mistaken, but everyone else at work had heard something similar also.

I heard that it was widely reported last summer about Unesco's part in the running of parks. I didn't read it myself. Could it have been part of the Executive Orders? I'm not sure how to effectively search the EO labyrinth.

You'd get to thinking, "Could this thing be for real? Is there REALLY something like this going on that I just didn't know about? Or maybe I've heard about this "Bob" crap somewhere but it sounded like just a "take off" on cults and totalitarian societies and Sales Gurus with mysterious powers of LUCK, that had something to do with this SLACK shit? With getting enough SLACK? The Slack I FORGOT ABOUT because of the CONSPIRACY? The Conspiracy that didn't even KNOW it was a Conspiracy, because it was mainly composed of people who thought they were doing the right thing, the Conspiracy that's a self-perpetuating ROBOT with an ENGINE fueled by HUMAN DOCILITY, and there's plenty enough of THAT to go around; the Conspiracy that just KEEPS GOING, KEEPS POUNDING ALONG, FLATTENING EVERYTHING IN ITS PATH, because it IS NORMAL, because it's composed of NORMALITY ITSELF, a Conspiracy that couldn't possibly know what it was about to DO TO ITSELF...

... but that could somehow be HALTED, or SCREWED UP, KNOCKED WOBBLY by some "bug " in it, some little unruly ball of abnormality that could gum up the motor just before the damn thing rolled over the edge of the cliff -- SAVED by a monkey wrench in the works!

Now...

"Bob" is dead. That's right -- J. R. "Bob" Dobbs was shot and killed by The Conspiracy on January 21, 1984. That little bug isn't in that Conspiracy machine anymore... and it'll roll over YOU unless YOU TAKE UP WHERE "BOB" LEFT OFF.
