New technology for Service

Does Anyone know of any new technology that would be useful for Service Departments IE, callback reduction,Some examples would be Proximity switches to replace mechanical brake switches, PLC technology for adding features to existing relay systems ect.

ANY SYSTEM WITH THE DC LEANARD WARD SYSTEM SHOULD BE REPLACE WITH VVVF THUS REMOVING THE NEED FOR GENERATORS AND OLD DC MOTORS REPLACING THE OLD DC MOTORS WITH AC WILL GET RID OF BRUSH MAINT ECT TO REDUCE CALLBACKS ENSURE YOUR ENGINEERS ADJUST DOOR MOTORS AND LOCKS AS 90 PERCENT FO BREAKDOWNS OCCURE IN THIS AREA ASK YOURSELF DID THEY GET THE LIFT GOING AND LEFT THE FAULT ON .SET UP A SYSTEM TO MONITOR REPEATING BREAKDOWNS THE AVERAGE BREAK DOWN SHOULD BE NO MORE THAN 4 OR 5 PER YEAR
