Swift Futura

greenspun.com : LUSENET : Elevator Problem Discussion : One Thread

Every now and then car stops in high speed in up direction. Then goes to the bottom landing resets and is fine. Code 119 comes up in faults ( tach velocity has exceeded 25 %) . Ordered new tach. Anyone have another idea. Haven't gotten tach yet.

Overspeed

Check weak field connections and voltage.

You should arm your screen capture to trigger on error 119 and see if the playback gives you any help in determining what is going on.

If you clipped a door lock or lost an input intermitently, sm would drop, the speed dictaion would go to zero but the elevator mass might not stop fast enough. This is very common on the older swifts. Your definition of overspeed is the car is running faster than contract speed. The program sees overspeed condition when car velocity exceeds speed dictaion. If you have an rvu or a pc running the wizard program you can arm the screen to capture frames around the time of the fault so you can go back and do an instant replay.

Jerry Ferro email me and I'll give you a daytime number to call.
