welcome, davis, to our catholic forum. i hope you enjoy reading through these threads and entering into some of our "discussions" (debates) here. questions are always welcome. at the same time, take everything with a grain of salt because we have alot of educated people here... and alot of different perspectives on some issues. God bless and keep you in His heart.

If you are my former governor, we all have a bone to pick with you forthwith. Having to do with support for abortion?

Nah; not THAT Gray, Hmm?

I was kinda hoping Gov Gray Davis would not get kicked out. I could have come out there and run against him ... I'm everything he is not. Pro-life, Republican, consertative, etc. thanks for the welcome.

Now THAT would have been a riot to see, Davis!! And the press would have eaten it up. Welcome, sir.

I would have run on the platform that he got everything backwards ... event the name. :-)

Welcome Davis, always nice to have more people here to learn from, and to learn with. Good luck ignoring some of the noise here, though!

Hey-- I resemble that statement.

Eugene, I assume you mean "people here to learn from, and to learn with" sounds like you, right!?

-- Pat Thompson (pat.thompson.45@gmail.com), March 01, 2005.

No, Pat; --NOISE.

Howdy, Davis. Fancy meeting me here - I'm sure. I only lurk here when I have a few moments. Isn't God great - You can never get away from your friends! God Bless you here at this forum and every where you go.

Wonder how long the other site will be down.

-- Davis (Hello@There.com), March 02, 2005.

Davis - in response to your question, shall we discus this with Annunciata? Maybe she is just trying to ease her Lenten burden by insisting the site stay down until Lent is over.

I'm offering it up - but I'll tell ya - there will be plenty of threads open addresing the topic I bet. grrrrrrrrrr - and the clubhouse will be filled with irritated and grumpy people. Stop on by! Have a good day.

I would invite annie if I had her e-mail address...wonder if Pres Scott had anything to do with the system breaking down?

-- Davis (Hello@There.com), March 02, 2005.

Day 4 and still no site. So sad. Still offering it up - but I do miss the ol' clubhouse. Even that Curmudgie old crab, Scottus!

Have a blessed day. Jen

Let's start our own CLUB HOUSE here.

-- Davis (Hello@There.com), March 03, 2005.

Not the same type of crowd. I used to post here quite a lot back in the spring until I found my new home. This can be a tough group and I get battle worn easily when trying to respond to/fight personal agendas.

Perhaps your encounter here will be different - and I pray it is. As the saying goes, " different stokes for different folks". And you are one of the best internet junkies I know!!!

Don't get me wrong - there are many awesome, faith filled Catholic warriors here. Peace and God bless.

I have run in to a couple "interesting" people here. I tried to open a Catholic Internet Junkes Clubhouse (CIJC) here and it was promptly removed. I wonder if these people know how to smile. I miss home.

Glad you are here!

-- Davis (Hello@There.com), March 03, 2005.

Hi Davis,

There are plenty of smiles here, and if you check the list of topics you will find several threads devoted to humor. I deleted your post because I didn't recognize it as anything specifically Catholic in nature, which is the topic of this forum. People sometimes start threads here on various unrelated topics, and while there is nothing wrong with these threads in and of themselves, we try to stay on course here as much as possible. This is a place for discussion of Catholic topics, not just a place for Catholics to discuss topics. In any case, welcome aboard!

Regards, Moderator

You are doing a great job...and yes, I need to be reeled in from time to time.
