Hi All,

I haven't been on for a while but I'm back with another question.

I am writing an essay on Mel Gibsons 'The Passion of Christ' and was wondering if you could point me in the right direction for resources on the Catholic teaching on Via Delorosa, the stations of the cross and other useful material. Perhaps stuff from the Catechism.

Thanks very much.

Dear Sharon:
You should check on the web for Anne Catherine Emmerich, Life of; and her visionary descriptions of the Dolorous Passion of Our Lord Jesus Christ.

Gibson drew heavily from this source, which basically relates gospel narratives' usual story. With some fascinating (eye witness) details.
