Hello everybody Please give a solution to my problem, I have a samsumg cd player and win 98+XP os with my computer. The problem is i can't play(copy also) vcd directly in win 98.The interesting thing is if the vcd is an original movie it will work. If i write this movie to another cd it won't work ! But i can copy the movie to my harddisk by XP Os,but it won't play directly from cd player(in 98 copying is also not possible).i have 128 mb RAM and the processor is 333MHZ celeron.

Are you in India? From things I have read, it appears that Indian VCDs are now often copy protected. Your problem sounds like you have a copy protected VCD. That's why you can't play it on a computer. I have seen plenty of software for working with copy protected audio CDs. Maybe a web search will help you. Copy protected CDs are usually made with bad sector information and this is why you can't copy it correctly. It's a long explanation, but basically copy protection works because PCs and standalone players look at discs differently and the copy protected discs are made in a way that prevents PCs from reading the disc correctly, but standalone players can read the disc correctly.
