Hi everyone. A few years ago,i received a donation of Sunday School Material, books (second hand). It was very helpful and i still use them.they are now really dated (1999). What have you done with your old books ? Here are Sunday School children and adults who would really value it. Can some one help ? Thanks

Pastor Higgins -

In my capacity as Assistant District Church School Superintendent I am encouraging local AME Church Schools to adopt a Church School in the Mother Land and recycle our materials to these congregations. I have already sent out my order to help Pastor Royd in Zambia and look forward to the day when we can serve all AME Church School students and teachers in Episcopal Districts 14-20. With a swifter approval process on my side of the Atlantic this can ensure a speedier delivery of these materials. My motto is "Studying the Scriptures & Serving Humanity" (Acts 17:11). Serving my brothers and sisters in Africa remains a high priority for this Superintendent. You and every pastor have my word. I ask for your continued prayers as I work to make this a reality. QED

For the youth classes, we let them take the material home after the last lesson of the quarter. Most of the adults take their material home weekly and (surprise! surprise!) actually do bring the materials back for use in class.

Those not taken home usually acculate in the cabinets until we need the space and the old stuff is put out for paper recycle.

If you provide and address, we can ship them to you. Some time ago we considered shipping them to the "mission field", but the cost was too expensive.
