Hey gang --

New Zipcar member here, and I'm anxious to get going. Here's hoping that more cars come to Queens in the Astoria/LIC neighborhood.

In any case, I was going to ride my bike to the City Lights building to pick up Beetle Barry. Does anybody know if there is a secure place to lock a bike near the building, preferably a bike rack? Can I lock my bike in the parking spot? Or, better yet, leave it locked in the parking garage?

I use Beetle Barry a lot of times and I don't believe there is any place to leave a bike, either in the garage or nearby.

Take the N or W to Queensboro Plaza and then the number 7 to Vernon- Jackson.
