I'm sure he must have performed miracles. What I do remember reading is that even wolves were tame in his presence. And Francis received the stigmata--the wounds of Christ in his hands and feet--that remained with him until his death. He was a loving, peaceful, faith- filled man, and everyone who met him admired him.
