Tator, whaddya wanna do.

greenspun.com : LUSENET : Anarchy 2 : One Thread

Before I delete mass amounts of posts relating to Kobe/A-B wars, Im gonna ask your opinion on the matter.

For that fact, and I feel slightly guilty in having forgotten to do this (eep!) what are the opinions of everyone here. Do you like reading all this? Do you enjoy the war being run here? Seriously, if you do, Ill stop being such a pain in the ass about it and let everyone have a lah de dah about things (as long as you dont become AKO script kiddies).

Democracy.

:)

Oh, and I DONT want to just mass delete KOBE shit. Thats not an answer. And I like what SBM has to say most of the time. Just like I like what Anti has to say most of the time, yet they are on opposite sides of the fence. I just dont like the shit being thrown around.

Hmmmm. I thought we had something cool here. If you guys dont want me here, I will leave peacefully. I will NOT attack this board or bring down Greenspun in retaliation. I am sorry you dont like what's going on here, but if you have been to our board lately, you will notice that we actually DO allow dissent. We DONT allow spamming.

-- KOBE SBM (kobesbm@kobehq.com), January 10, 2005.

I would like to see DeVoy or one of his followers here to debate the KOBE followers if this is going to continue, at least. These two groups seem to relish getting the other booted off one server or another, and I don't really see what they have to do with *anarchy* per se, (more like feudalists duking it out).

OTOH, their nerd war (to steal "white pride"'s phrase) has as much to do with anarchy as the racist threads do...

Finally, I've normally been a fan of letting anyone post anything, but as the KOBE people seem to want to stop the free expression of everyone who disagrees with them, I don't see why the same principle shouldn't be applied for their actions here, in the way of an example. If they are lucky, we won't go over to KOBEHQ and shut the place down. LOL

DeVoy wont be coming here, because he thinks everyone is KOBE or somehow associated with KOBE. He is a paranoid nutcase. Also, KOBE has NEVER been booted "from one server to the next". We OWN our webserver, and we have all of our own resources. Its DeVoy who has been booted all over the place and had shit shut down (either directly by KOBE, or his webhosts).

Also, NOBODY will be shutting down KOBE....but I knew you were joking anyway....LOL

As long as their is no spamming I don't see what the big deal is. I don't agree with alot of what kobe stands for politically but if we all agree on the same issues our site will become as lame as kobe's site. got ya sbm

-- Brasky (brasky@freespeech.com), January 10, 2005.

Why not concentrate on deleting goten crap, and then banning the person doing it. At least SBM and Anti's debates are sometimes amusing.

-- me (anidea@ideas.com), January 11, 2005.

The problem is (at least in my opinion) the attacking of KOBE IS spamming. Like I said before, I like SBM posting, but I dont like coming on here every day and seeing 'Kobe eats dick', 'Kiss my ass, Kobe', 'Kobe blows midgets'.

In case none of you noticed, SBM has NOT been clogging up threads with attacks on other users... as many of you may hate to admit it, hes behaved better than a lot of people.

-- KC (kc@hot.mail), January 11, 2005.

I like SBM posting here, also. I just wish that the whole, "I take out Anarchy sites and turn in desenters" talk would stop. That threatens us and our Board, our (or at least mine, KC is Canadian) 1st Amendments right, and scares people from posting. Other than that I think that his opeinion should be welcome. The more ideas that are expressed he, the better it will be. So I say keep him...

Unless of course he starts messing with Anti or any of us IRL :p

And hey, be nice to Joe. He pays his taxes, seems like a nice guy, and is our boards quasi conservative voice of reason (did I peg it right, BJ?). Plus, gee golly gosh, he dun shure have a dat dere brain up in that ol head.

-- Kayce (kc@hotmail.com), January 13, 2005.

....plus he's an +amerikan+ sniker, unlike u!

-- (redwhiteblooo@oooooo!ooo.ooo), January 13, 2005.

Hey! I dont want to be nice to Joe. He keeps calling me names, and telling lies (stomping around now). I dont wanna!

-- KOBE SBM (kobesbm@kobehq.com), January 13, 2005.

KC,

Well, I do pay all the taxes I must, am fairly conservative, and believe strongly in both personal freedom, and more importantly, personal *responsibility*. As for the brain, that's for our radio listeners to decide...

And as far as the kobes go, I must admit I've gotten rather frustrated with them, so it's only fair they be allowed to act the same way towards me.

Well, at least you seem to have half a brain (from what species, I havent figured out yet...LOL). You seem to have a lot of misconceptions about KOBE, about politics, and about real world situations. Are you younger than 25? Im guessing you are, because your viewpoints are so.....naieve.

-- KOBE SBM (kobesbm@kobehq.com), January 13, 2005.

What is so naieve about someones age?? I know of some really stupid old people. I mean... just look at Bush! And Cheney!! Hes like 80 something.

-- Dick Tator (inneedofliberty@yahoo.com), January 13, 2005.

Me? Younger than 25? LOL, you are off by a few decades, and obviously way off on your politics and ideas about people you don't understand.

SBM, first off, I'd like to apologize for the idiots running rampant all over here posting crap... I'm trying to delete and control as much as I can.

Just because BJ sits on the other side of the fence doesnt mean his views are wrong.

See, if more posters were more like you, as in, REASONABLE, I might consider posting and hanging out around KobeHQ as well to post messages around from my home compy (Work tends to keep track of what I do... Canada being a Liberal country and all, all it would take is one person seeing all the things at Kobe HQ over my shoulder and I would have some s'plainin ta do). But everyone is so freakin anti- muslim over there... sigh...

The problem is not in the faith, its in the way the majority has decided to interpret it. Centuries ago when the crusades happened, you could have easily called the christians the same way. They decided to run about being genocidal freaks. Now, did that mean all Christians/Catholics were evil? No. And they worked themselves out.

Wiping out a whole religion, is completely unnecessary. Ill agree. The Koran definatly needs some work... Ive read it as a part of my university religion and politics section of world history. Its definatly off on a few things. But people, including Muslims, HAVE realized they cant take everything in one stupid book literally (just like christies and the bible).

Bin Laden ruined the Muslim faith ever sinec 911 in the public eye. Osama did a bitch sneaky cowardly attack on the US. I mean, Ive got a billion times more respect for Saddam than I do Osama. At least Saddam was outright stupidly stubborn when a big country was coming to eat him... Osama was like that kid who throws rocks at a nice house and then runs away, letting blame fall on everyone else.

-- Kayce (k@ceee.com), January 14, 2005.

Well KC, I agree with you there. Saddam clawed his way up through the ranks, and held on to the bitter end. Osama is a rich kid hiding somewhere letting other people do things for him. NO comparison, but I wouldn't want either living next to me.

KC, Dick, BJ, SBM, if I could work my will, BinLaden and his crew of fanatics would be boiled in oil or fed to some Great White sharks.
