Pius the 12th was known as the Nazi pope and John Paul the second still is a very good man

Oscar,

He was never known as the Nazi Pope. A book called "Hitler's Pope" was recently written. The "shocking" title sells books. There is more than enough information available that supports the fact that Pius XII saved many lives.

He walked a careful diplomatic line in Nazi occupied Rome that saved Catholics and Jews alike, paying ransoms, and throwing the doors of Churches, monestaries, convents, and schools, all over Europe to hide and save as many as possible---all this without having the Vatican leveled by Hitler.

Check out "The Church and WWII," and "the RRC and WWII" threads on this board. He was praised by those who were alive and witnessed his actions. He is being stung by a number of authors trying to make a buck, and by people who have agendas they won't come clean about.

Dear Greg:
If your mother says John Paul II is a very good man, --she must be a very good mother. And a good Catholic. Give God THANKS each day for giving you your mother; and don't become a disappointment to her. Everything you do in this life will reflect on your mother at the Last Judgment. Don't allow for her to face Jesus Christ in that day, and have Him ask: ''What happened to Greg-- Your son? Why didn't you teach him to love Me?''

My own mother turned 91 yesterday; God bless her! She taught me to pray, and instilled in my soul all her own faith. That's why I love the Sacred Heart of Jesus, on account of my good mother. In that day, Jesus will give her a golden crown; for bringing her children to Him. You may not wish for yours to have any golden crown in heaven ? ? ?

But help her to gain it, if you love her. It is in your power, Greg.

Happy Belated Birthday to you mother, Eugene. You are a young pup if she is alive and well. She sounds like a beautiful gem. No more calling yourself and old man! ;o)

Thank you, notsure. May God give you grace and happiness, and keep you from all harm and misfortune.

Nothing is more precious to God than a mother who offers her babies up to His love. Let's give thanks!

Mil gracias, Enrique;
Es mas. Con todo aquello mi querida Mama con tanta fortaleza lidio con mi Papa, durante casi medio siglo, sufriendo las incomparables. Lo perdonaba, y aunque la misma FAMILIA de mi jefe le aconsejaba a Mama el divorcio;

Gracias, Hermano-- Ciao!

A friend of mine in Vallejo, Jack-- lost his mother last thursday. She lived 85 years. i say him in mass yesterday, and he let me know. He said his mother was now in heaven; that was his consolation.

Old timers are two kinds of soul, I think. One kind is unhappy, he lives in the past. To him, life becomes sad; all it is at 85 is nostalgia. He thinks of the old days. But we should all be the other kind; who are now looking forward eagerly.

Soon my eyes will really see Him; Jesucristo; El Senor. I'm yearning to see Him at last! Ya me desespero por verle, Dios me favorezca.
