New billing statement

Is it just me, or is the new billing statement confusing?

Indeed it is. Why could the statement not resemble a bank statement: a beginning balance followed by debits and credits which, when totalled, give you your ending balance. This is basic bookkeeping 101.

Exactly my thoughts. I've had problems with the listed Zipcar fees not matching my credit card billing statement. I also had a fee in Dec. which was unexplained. When I inquired about it (twice) via email, Zipcar customer service bounced my inquiry over to Zipcar Accounting but nobody ever got back to me. I still don't know what the charge is for. I'm happy w/the Zipcar service in general but it seems a small thing to get the billing statement right...and email responses from Zipcar HQ could be better. The contracted customer service folks that do the initial email responding and answer the phone are very good...it's when you need word from the "actual" Zipcar" staff that there seems to be a lag (when there is any response at all).

Just my two cents,

J
