17' Fiberglass Van Duyne for sale

greenspun.com : LUSENET : Open-water rowing : One Thread

I am selling my Van Duyne because I recently acquired a sailing Swampscott dory and have no time for this project. She is in good structural condition, but needs a complete cosmetic overhaul to make her look nice. She needs new rubrails and the fore and after seat bulkheads need to be retabbed. Miscellaneous fairing and sanding are also required. I have all four of the original bronze inverted "U" thole pins but they have been removed. I rowed her in Great South Bay all last summer and really enjoyed it. Thanks to those of you who responded to my queries about oars, etc! I have digital pics for any who are interested. She's located on the South Shore of Long Island, NY. Asking $600 - Call Charlie at 631-661-4892 to discuss.
