Do you believe that you will see Jesus coming on the clouds of heaven, as described in Scripture, in your lifetime?

Brother Harris,

This is a most interesting question!!! I was intrigued when I heard Rev. Billy Graham say that the current events in and around Israel suggest the second coming. He then went on to say that he believed that there was nothing to delay the second coming of Jesus. He wouldn't elaborate more about the events in Israel because of political reasons he said.

I don't have any keen understanding of the prophecies related to the second coming to suggest that Jesus is near. I can say that at age 44 that I expect to live for 36 more years and will most certainly see Jesus then which is really a short amount of time .

Brother Jazzman,

You did not answer the question! Many believe that they will see Him when they die! Will you see Him while you live?!!

I hope to see Jesus in the Rapture! Life on earth can really "suck" and funerals are typically not celebratory events for bereaved family members. QED

In Christ we have eternal life. The flesh must return to the clay from whence it was taken. The life, the very breath of God leaves, the body of flesh, and immediately transitions to God (Paul). Yes indeed you will see him in your lifetime. Even the unsaved will see Him, "We must all stand before the judgement seat of Christ . . ."

We should not fear death; He showed us the way through death.

Be Blessed

Bro. and Sis.

This is not a trick question. Either 'Yes' you believe you will see Him on the clouds during your life-time or 'No' you don't!

The answer is YES if you are still alive when He comes. (television will most probably be the medium whereby all will see Him at one time.

We need to understand the first resurrection and the second dresurrection. Those who overcome (not those who are saved or born again) will be part of the first resurrection. In you are an overcomer and is alive when Christ comes, you will be taken up with Him into the Kingdom to be part of the rulers. If you died an overcomer, you will be resurrected to be part of those caught up to meet Him in the sky. If you are just saved/born again and is dead when He comes, you will not be ressurected to meet Him, but only be part of the second ressurection when all will be ressurected for judgement day. from the book of Timothy and Revelation
