Well NOTBBC is moribund yet again, and Macbeth's Lifeboat site is still-born, so I thought I'd kick things off on here in the hope one or two might still be interested enough to chip in.

The bad news is that according to .com Shearer has aggravated his thigh muscle problem again in training and missues out yet again, although some will no doubt see that as good news.

The other bad news is that both Hughes and Taylor have picked up a virus and also miss out, so the curse continues.

Apparently, Robert, Kluivert, Dyer and O'Brien are fit to return along with Bowyer. Presumably, the former will sit it out once again as regrettably he prepares to finally bid farwell to SJP.

Without a single recognised RB available, and with only four fit defenders, presumably O'Brien will be forced to play RB again!

The team pretty well picks itself:

Given

O'Brien - Bramble - Elliott - Bernard

Bowyer - Dyer - Jenas - Milner

CB - PK

Sadly, I just can't see this lot picking up anything at Anfield even though Liverpool are not exactly firing on all cylinders. A point is probably the best we can expect, and I'm resigned to yet another defeat, perhaps 0-2 or 1-3.
