Does anyone else read Sherri's website? I do sometimes and I just noticed this tonight. Might explain why she's been "lost" lately. Hope this site works for you all....

Wow. Is that what bloggers do? I haven't visited a blogger site. I love the logo. Sounds like there's a lot of stuff going on in her life now for sure.

Sherri, if you read this, I sure hope things are going okay.

Marcia, thanks for letting us know.

And Sherri,

I will hold you and your family in my prayers.

Thanks everyone. I don't have anything more to add at the moment. Mom and Dad are flying back to Michigan for Christmas and my brother is going to go along with them. Keith and I are driving up there on Christmas eve to spend the weekend, we can't stay any longer than that because Keith couldn't get any vacation time from his work.

If the mass in dad's lung does turn out to be cancer I'm guessing that he'll probably have to have surgery to remove it sometime soon. I'm going to take off time from work and go down to Florida to be with mom. Since I'm the medical one, I get to translate. :)

Thanks again, I'll keep you posted.

Healing thoughts going to you and your family. Let us know if there is anything we can do.

I got an email from mom today. The good news is that the mass in his lung is just scar tissue. The bad news is that they still don't have a diagnosis. They're all getting on the plane tomorrow morning and will be in Michigan until the 30th.

Any good news is welcome! You, and your family have been in my thoughts so often recently; I am glad to hear from you. Have a safe trip up to see your family over the holiday.

What a dreadful thing 'not knowing'is! Must be terrible for you all to have this constantly on your mind. Hope you can find some peace and season's joy amongst the worrying, sherri.

I'm kind of nervous about seeing dad on Friday. I know that he's going to look different but I'm afraid that he's going to look bad. And I'm even more afraid of him seeing the worry in my face, if that makes any sense.

Thanks for all of the kind thoughts.
