And, i tried several ways to burn VCD with Roxio 6. But they didn't work. The DVD player came up with "MP3- No data". I tried the others and they did the same thing or... you can hear it reading, but it never stops and nothing comes up on the screen.

P.S.-I don't remember the ways i tried to burn the VCDs :-)

According to www.videohelp.com, your player won't play VCD.

Roxio's stuff is adequate for making CDs, but beyond that, it sucks. Do a google search for Video CD authoring program, and you should run across a number. Check www.videohelp.com for lots of goodies and information. I personally use TMPGEnc to make the files and VCDEasy to make a VCD-compatible image. Not a one-click solution, but if offers more control over the process and gives nice results.

In addition to Bryan's excellent comments, I would suggest you go to http://www/dvdrhelp.com, click on the DVD Players link on the left side of the page and look up your player. Be sure that it supports VCD and burnable media. I strongly recommend against using Roxio to make VCDs. Like Bryan, I use VCDeasy to author VCDs and I burn with Nero (http://www.ahead.de).
