one more question what is the torrent thing

if i answer you i will be here for an hour but to make a long story short anti-leech is just another program that lets you download things through anti-leech or a client of it netpumper they just let you leech the files and most of them are zipped files. Use winzip or 7zip to decompress the files at www.winzip.com or http://www.7- zip.org/ Direct download is just http:// or you can download them from a link. Bittorrent is a p2p software that has seeders who have the file and all of the files are torrent files so bitttorrent can read it and then turns it into such files like .ogm, .mkv, .avi, etc. Bittorrent also has clients that work differently as it does, bittornado, azureus, torrentstorm, etc. You could just google search for other clients. You can change the format of a file by getting a file converter such as winmpg and riverpast. Also mpgdvd.com has one too. Good luck! Anymore questions just email me.

To make ak's answer a bit easier to understand:

Direct download means that you are downloading directly from the host server and you dont need any other programs to download it. You just need to click on the link and save it. These files can be in their normal file type, or can be in zipped folders.

Anti-leech, is a way to protect your files. To download files protected by anti-leech you will need the anti-leech download plugin, or you will need a program that utilizes that plugin, such as NetPumper. These files are in zipped folders. If you use netpumper it will download the zipped folder, but if you just use the anti-leech plugin then it will open up the folder and you can copy and paste the file you want instead of having to save a zipped folder that you will have to go back and unzip later.

Torrent means that there are other people out there that have part or all of the file that you want, and you are downloading directly from them, not from a server. You will need a torrent program to download them, and it is not like Kazaa or any other P2P download software. This way usually takes longer because everyone is downloading off of everyone else all at the same time. As long as someone has a more of the download complete than you do, then you can download from them. That is how it difers from the usual P2P download program. When using Kazaa or a program similiar to it, you can only download from people who have the complete file. With torrent files you can download from anyone who has more of the file than yourself. If you are at 30% and someone else is at 60%, then you will download from them, as well as anyone else who alse has more than 30% of the file. By that description you would expect it to go faster, but it actually takes longer, because you are directly connected to someone else, not a server, meaning that you will most likely be downloading off of people who dont have a high bandwidth, and with a lot of people downlodaing off of them too, it only slows it down more. This is usually just as fast if not faster than using Kazaa.

Usually people prefer direct download because they are typically faster and less hassle. :)

Also, a lot of anime media is in the .rmvb file type. That type can only be played in RealMedia player, or with one of their codecs. They can be converted into avi files or other types, but that is just a hassle. The best thing to do is just get the codec. There is a good one here: http://fe1.edskes.com/r/realalt111.exe
