Spouse drivers

Is a spouse allowed to drive the car on the other's reservation? My wife and I are both zipcar members and would like the flexibility for either one to drive on a given outing. But it appears that only one person is able to reserve the car and therefore only that one has permission to drive. Is that right? If so, can it be changed? Thanks.

You can share the driving of a Zipcar with any other Zipcar member, so your spouse can drive on your reservation.

As you know, non-members are not permitted to drive Zipcars

Thanks

Chris, perhaps what you are wondering is if you can open the car with your card, even though your wife reserved it with her card. If this is the case, I would suggest that you simply reserve the car with her username and password, or let her reserve with yours. You could even log on and change it by opening 2 browser windows or tabs, each logging on as the other user, then cancelling, then reserving the same car.
