Sorry...all I can do is recommend bittorrent. You'd be hard-pressed to find them direct d/l. (I'm looking for them myself!!! <_<) What's the story with these new Gmail accounts anyway? I seem to be on their mailing list re it, but haven't got anything. Can u really invite ppl???

1: Yeeeeeeesssss...I *would* like a Gmail account kudasai! 2: I assume, if you are speaking in terms of port adjusting, you are cowering behind a firewall of some sort (very prudent thing to do I assure you as I myself am blanketed by flames!) I can recommend ZoneAlarm, it had no problem with the BTDownloadgui.exe accessing the internet and acting as a server. Bottom line: try changing firewalls. Mail me if you have any questions about BT, I'm relatively new to it but it works grand for me.

Also another possible method struck me: WinMX. It is kind of unfriendly at first glance, and requires a certain amount of setting up, but one peer search and you will be downloading those spring specials. It's totally non-Gnutella related.

ok first things first ill send u a gmail account and second of all i already use zonealarm and am well aware of the whole port adjusting as yesterday i was trying to adjust them to the right settings (6881- 6889) and even up to 6999 but it still didn't work. thanks anyway though.

Zone alarn: just go into program tab and make sure the bittorrent client has a green tick in all the boxes cept in the send mail box.

No port fiddleing required. Though if you can't get zone alarm (the easiest fire wall out there) to play ball, you shouden't try bittorrent or any P2P.
