Hi!

I've only used ZipCar a few times since getting the service a few months ago but I find myself wanting ALOT more information about the cars available on the website. I would love to see a more comprehensive description *of the actual car* rather than a general link to the features the car has. I'd love to know what color the car is, what exact model year it is, and perhaps even what options are in it. As much as I loved my experience with Mini Miyagi, that Teal/Green color is embarassing but I loved the Dual-Pane Moonroof and that should be noted in the car's descriptions.

Also, sorta related... does anyone know if the S40's available in Washington DC are the recently redesigned S40's??

I am happy to report that the S40's in New York are indeed the 2005 models! I'm renting one now and it is a great car. That new center console is a work of art, and the semi-automatic transmission is a fun feature. This could be the best front-wheel-drive car available in the usa.
