greenspun.com : LUSENET : Central of Georgia Railway Historical Soc : One Thread

I thought the group might be interested in a couple of upcoming special trips the SAM SHORTLINE will be running out of Cordele, Georgia. These will be good opportunities to collect some rare mileage on an historic line as well as to get photographs in places we don’t usually go. See http://www.samshortline.com for additional information.

I’ll be happy to answer any questions.

I would like to personally, publicly thank Mr. Lee Kinnamon and Miss Skye Sanchez for their hospitality when I visited there a few months ago.

We are in the process of getting our railroad off the ground, and when I called around asking for help, they went above and beyond the call of duty to assist me. I am looking forward to returning down that way soon!
