[Advice from Mother Cabrini:]
"We must pray without tiring, for the salvation of mankind does not depend on material success, nor on sciences that cloud the intellect. Neither does it depend on arms and human industries, but on Jesus alone."

[Information provided in 2001 by Enrique Ortiz:]
"The city of San Diego in California was named after San Diego de Alcalá, one of the Saints mentioned" above.

[Enrique, many are praying that San Diego de Alcala can intercede to undo a recent, horrible court decision that came down in favor of an atheist and his secularist supporters. A large cross, erected to honor veterans, has stood atop Mt. Soledad, overlooking San Diego, for over fifty years -- but must now come down, unless an appeal succeeds. The saint had better pray for all of the sick state of California, the "land of fruit and nuts," which just elected pro- aborts galore and approved the use of state tax money for embryonic stem cell research.]
