I'm looking to buy a long range target rifle at reasonable price (less than 1500 for the whole deal). What I want to know is that is the Remington 700 action with there heavy barrel better or worse than the Savage 10f with heavy barrel, assuming that all other components are equal? I've looked at both the Remington 700 police and the Savage 10FP-LE2B Mcmillan. Maybe you can help me decide.
