I once waited 8 hours for the torrent to connect to the tracker.

If your getting error codes then it's ok the tracker is just over loaded. if not then its a dead torrent.

Download torrent spy to see if its a dead torrent or not.

Lazy tonight so you'll have to look on google for torrent spy.
