this man, Signori Buttiglione, was supposed to be the Justive Commissioner for the EU. that's the equivament of the US Secretary of Justice.

a few weeks ago, he said he regarded homosexuality as a "sin", and that marriage existed to allow women to have children and the protection of a male.

he is Catholic (from Italy).

he practices Catholicism in his politics. Amen to that.

he is now in deep doo-doo.

the British Navy has recently promised to recognise one of their crew member's religion and have promised him a burial ccording to that religion and space on board his vessel to "pray".

there is developing a hierarchy of political correctness. in this case, it is OK to worship satan as long as you do not upset gay people. you can't however be Catholic for that same reason.
