how can distinguish b/w cut and uncut anime eps? i've been watching fansub anime eps, but i can't tell whether they are cut or uncut.

Fan subs are generally the uncut japanese version. The eposidoes on day time tv might has some cuts in them IE bloody scenes and nudity, dragon ball was one of the heaveley cut anime. So go figure

Dragon Ball Z was cut so much because when it was shown in the US it's target audencie was changed from older teens to 8 year olds. if it was not for this it would have been shown uncut (probally)
