Quit complaining.

Fan subs are for generating interests in a series so that a anime label would pick it up a release it, Thus you would be able to buy the high quality dvd/tapes. The fan subs are thus just for viewing and not for archiving.

People are getting to be ungrateful, Remember you got it for free so don't bitch!

High expectations of quality in fansubs is something that I don't like seeing. In the VHS days you'd have to pay for the tape to be mailed to you in order to watch fansubs with subpar quality, so back then it was truly nothing but a preview of the show which encourages the sales of dvds. Nowadays people can get the subs for a show 2 days after it aired with video quality almost as high as dvds, for free, and if you share it with others there are no loss of quality since these are digital and not analog subs. As hellno have said, it's hard to complain about something when you get it for free. Maybe I should write a petition requesting every group start doing shitty fansubs so people will buy the dvds :P.
