OK...since Elp wanted contemporary...this I composed three years back...

It is a Euletergcal Poem, written for a funeral.

WHY CRY for me in the night... as I gaze into the starfilled sky? or chance upon a thought of all that has occurred. Why waste you're time as I lay dead to weep at my passing when I have escaped into eternity? or shall we instead site out own losses... a selfish need for another?

can we think then better thoughts of me... that now I know the answers to what I seek? that now I am free? that now I am happier. I may be liberated and even in hell salvation is better than on earth... shall we then weep at this?that we may be released. weep not... laugh... cheer yourself... for life is hell and death its release... a release from pain as motivation is revealed to be what is and old things come again and we finally know the why... and I aspire to know the why of things.

Response to WEEP DEATH

Zarove

this is good. but explain this phrase to me: "even in hell salvation is better than on earth".

Response to WEEP DEATH

I would guess that it is similar to saying that medications are better when we are infected with poor health than when having a relatively good health.

i understand that Elton John, when he starts writing, will throw the lot in the bin if he is not finished ONE HOUR later.
