All bishops except Co-adjutor bishops are assigned a See . Recently on 29/9/04 Most Rev. Vincent Barwa, Bishop of Purnea was appointed Auxiliary Bishop of Ranchi Archdiocese but has not been assigned a titular see as per practice. Is it possible ?

On September 29, 2004, the Most Reverend Vincent Barwa was appointed Auxiliary Bishop of Ranchi, India and the titular Bishop of Acufida (according to http://catholic-hierarchy.org/bishop/bbarwa.html which obtains its information from reputable sources).
