i have comcast will that affect anything? is bittorent free? where is a good place to get bittorent? i heard its long as hell for bittorent to load, is that true? will it load any viruses on my computer like kazaa? is it illegal, like if i use it then will THE MAN have cuffs on my hands the next thing i know?

i have all these questions cause im going insane of waiting 1 hour for direct downloads.... plz reply -_-

i dont know i used it and got a letter from comcast saying it was illegal i payed a fine of 5k.... *cry*

If you can't wait then reach for your wallet and pull out the greens. Downloading takes time, fact of life.

Bittorrent aint going to make your "loading" faster and by the sounds of things your new to computers so i would suggest you familiarize your self with it first before trying to find copy righted material on the web.

To answer your question.

Comcast sucks ass and they are bad at sucking. I would get another ISP perferbly cable, DSL is old.

Bittorent is FREE but connecting to trackers is another thing, I came across a pay tracker. Read up on bittorrent here http://bittorrent.com/

"long as hell for bittorent to load" Not true! it only takes a few seconds to load bittorrent once it's installed on your computer. If your talking about downloading anime using bittorrent then it's only as fast as your line allows, If you have a half meg line bittorrent won't make it into a 100 meg line, wish it could but it aint going to happen.

Virus? Unless the file your downloading is a virus then no.

It's legal to use bittorrent but what you download with it might not be IE mp3.

If your scared of THE MAN then don't use they net!!! as your opinion might differ from the governments and they'll throw the book at you then they'll throw away the keys to the cell.

Bittorrent IS legal as its open source software. If they say you can't use bittorrent then it must be against the law as it's a free county. Check up on it if you diden't download any copy righted material then sue their ass!
