If you get the chance be sure to catch the movie "Woman Thou Art Loosed." I saw it this weekend and recommend it to everyone on the board. The movie is not well advertised so you have to check local listings for screenings.

I was interested in seeing this movie as a Church School activity but discovered, much to my surprise & chagrin, the movie is rated "R". Now, it looks like I can only go with a group of adults. Why would Jakes produce a film with an "R" rating? I know the film deals with a mature and sensitive subject but I wasn't expecting this rating. It will limit exposure to just a targeted population. I had just heard that this would be a movie, but hadn't realize it was now playing at different places.

I think taking a group from church to see this movie is a wonderful idea. Pastor Jakes is dealing with a very real truth, and unfortunately there is no "PG" or "PG13" way to portray it.

Another sad thing about this truth is many teenage girls (with some counseling before hand) could probably receive encouragment for healing from this movie. If it is anything like the book, it is truly a must see.

I can't remember, actually I didn't pay too much attention, but Was "The Passion" rated "R"?
