ROCO DCC TURN OUT OPERATION Q.

greenspun.com : LUSENET : Wiring for DCC : One Thread

Can I use atlas snap switches with a DCC point control unit? http://www.mgsharp.com/Roco_Digital.htm You can view it there. I only have one Atlas unter table switch rigged up right now but I would like to add more I have about 20 - they're just cheaper!

Does anyone know how well this ROCO unit works. I like the price and simplicity of it.

I can't tell from the website that you reference if you can use an Atlas snap switch. Why don't you ask THEM?

Ask the manufacturer or seller of the DCC equipment. In this case, I believe that would be Roco. They will know what their equipment is designed to work with.

Don't forget the seller of equipment. If they want to sell it they need to know what the equipment will work with. Since these people deal with customers every day, they should be a good resource for questions like yours.

In contacting a seller of equipment, try one that specializes in the sale of DCC equipment. If your local hobby shop sells the particular product you are interested in, you can try them, too.

We would love to be able to answer your question on the forum, but there is such a variety of equipment out there (That's a good thing!) we often don't know the answer.
