Sure looks good. 100% orthodox as far as I can see.

Thanks, Paul M.

I found that website easy to navigate. A little too easy, which got me wondering about its orthodoxy.

Hi Rod,

That is my mother's parish. I've been to it many times. Never saw the website. Thanks for the link!

Ha! It's a smaller world than I thought, Jim. I imagine the real place is even more impressive. Uncanny....uncanny!

The Cathedral of Mary our Queen is the center point, the heart of Catholicism in Baltimore. Very impressive, huge, full of facinating details. All the big events happen there.

But with all its magisty, its almost too big, too powerful. For me its a bit "chilly."

The Church that I credit for bringing me back to my faith is an urban church called St Ignatius. ( www.st-ignatius.net ) A smaller but very beutiful Building that has one of the most intelligent and moving high Mass' I have ever attended. The Music is perfect. I've been to many Mass' everywhere over the years, but none like this.

I was stunned the first time I attended the St Ignatius Mass. The homilies are facinating, and the movement of the Mass is like none I've ever experienced. If you ever make it to Baltimore check out the 10:30 high Mass. It unforgetable.

The pastor, Father Watters has built an urban pre-highschool for underprivalidged children. About 80% finish high school and go on to college. Good things are happening here. They have a cyber- movie about the school on the website that is truely an eye-opener for an old ex educator like me.

THis Church helps me to affirm the possibilities of my shakey faith.

Thanks, Jim. I'll do some browsing. BTW, I hope to be an ex-educator, too. I can count the years in two hands; that's better than three hands.

Rod-

I had just finished counting nine of my digits before my "escape." There is much I missed when I left 15 years ago, and can't see ever going back. I did my time---and when you look at it that way, its proof that it was time to go.
