MVdebuts in WSBK Imola

One bike to watch for at Imola is a new one to the series. After becoming one of the most revered marques in racing history that was followed by, MV Agusta makes its return to big-time racing after a multi-decade hibernation. The four-cylinder MV F4 has posted some impressive results in world-championship endurance racing this year, and wild-card entry Andrea Mazzali will be hoping for good results in front of a packed house of Italians who will urge on this artful Italian bella macchina.

It was great to see the MV on the grid, although in race 1 we got a close up of the bike nearly getting wiped out by the highsiding GSV! Not a good result in Imola, but this is the start of good things to come, it will be a tough task to get back on top, but I think/hope the MV boys will do the business..roll on !

i was there great to see it on the track. also watched the race replay tonight on sky and the commentators said the expect a factory backed MV bike in WSB soon !!

I hope to see more entries into serious racing. Many people believe that MV is just a status symbol, but if MV keeps making progress at the circuts, perhaps some of those writers will look at them differently. Just a hope for a brighter tomorrow!!!

Nop even if Mazzali was not the 1st during this WSBK race don't forget he just tested stock engine for the new F4 1000. But results in Italian SBK series were far better.
