Code: LYOKO is NOT ANIME, it is from FRANCE. Anime is from JAPAN. The theme song is called "Un Monde Sans Danger," a translation would be "A World Without Danger." This request shouldn't be here. Nick the Bittorrent Wizard, you took the words right out of my mouth. EXACTLY. And I am totally against all these Anime rip-offs (Teen Titans, Totally Spies, etc.) it's not even funny. Not only do they SUCK ASS, but they rip off everything that makes Anime unique and wonderful, worst of all they do it POORLY. I swear to God when I first saw Teen Titans I would have ripped my own eyes out (if it weren't for the fact that I have an eye phobia and even saying that sentence freaks me out, but it is the only way I can describe what an ABOMINATION that show is) at the horrible sight. Are there any petitions out there I could sign to make these nightmares stop? If it's one thing I hate more than the editing and dumbing down of beloved Anime it's these Anime mockeries (and of course, predjudice pisses me off). We have to put a stop to them before more and more show up. I love Anime, but that doesn't mean I don't enjoy classic American cartoons like Fairly OddParents, Spongebob Squarepants, Angry Beavers, Invader ZIM, etc. I love them for totally different reasons because there is really NO similarity between Japanese and American cartoons other than the fact that they are animated. The only reason companies are coming out with these new shows are for profit, seeing how popular Anime is becoming and not wanting to lose ratings. With the addition of these shows I am LESS likely to want to watch American cartoons!!!!!!! Anyone agree? I mean I crack up when other shows like do an episode or something to parody Anime (South Park, Codename Kids Next Door, Angry Beavers, Dexter's Laboratory, Fairly OddParents, tons have done it), but parodying Anime for an episode and basing an ENTIRE series on cheap rip offs of sweat drops and facefaults and even to the point of HAVING A FRICKIN' THEME SONG ACTUALLY SUNG BY JAPANESE PEOPLE TO SOUND LIKE MANGLED ENGLISH is just a mockerly of a staple to a great culture and I will not stand for it. Who's with me?

...I rambled a lot...Did any of that make sense when you read it because I felt like I was kinda typing in sentences incoherently...Well, you get the gist of it, right?

I think you misinterperated what I said. I LOVE South Park. I'm obsessed, dude. There's only 6 episodes I've never seen and I can quote the entire movie pretty much by heart I've seen it so many times. What I meant is South Park my occasionally rip on Anime but it's funny. They rip on everything. But they aren't basing their entire series on an Anime and making a mockery of it. Did you they even have a Japanese dub of South Park over there? That's gotta be wierd since they rip on Japan all the time (Chimpokomon, Ladder to Heaven, etc.)...But re-read my post up there to see what I meant. I totally love South Park and that's not the point I was trying to make. Sorry for the confusion!!

I LOVE South Park. Not only is it funny but the writing is seriously genius. Nearly every episode actually has a life lesson (with the exception of a few episodes that are pretty damn near pointless, like my personal favorite episode "Scott Tennorman Must Die"). People either seem to love or hate South Park. I don't know anyone who could hate it unless they've only seen like one episode or never seen it at all. To see it is to love it. By the way, shouldn't the new episodes be starting soon? They usually take a break in seasons for about 5 months before putting out new eps, and the last new episode was in mid-April ("Goobacks")...

But this is getting off topic. Point is Anime emulators like Teen Titans and Code Lyoko SUCK ASS.

You all got me wrong.... I have nothing against Code: LYOKO; it is one of my favorite shows. My point is that people should not confuse it with anime, as it is FRENCH.

Whats wrong with somone asking for a code lyoko song here anyways? It's close enough to an anime, in fact much more than teen titans/totally spies. I don't care if isn't a "true" anime its good enough for me! Code lyoko's a great show and even if you don't like it that doesn't give you an excuse to put it down like you have!
