Lon sold his stories ... and he told me to delete them from here. So I d-d-did.
-- helen (horrified@too.believe.me), September 10, 2004.
Weeelllll, not exactly. I am trying to sell some of my stories, the Listener, Chisos and Christmas Lightning. So I asked Helen to delete them from here, because a publisher might not like having them posted anywhere. This is really hard. I'm not good at handling rejection, and I know I"m just asking for it. Actually, I keep thinking that if I can find someone in the business who will just take enough interest to guide me, perhaps I can eventually find a niche.

Wow Lon! That would really be great! No matter if the person likes it or not, I want to remind you how much we all appreciate your writings here at the FRL. You'll always be a star to us! Best of luck, and I hope you hear something positive!
I just looked at the Story category and the old 'Saga' stories are there still. I'm glad they are, even though probably nobody ever reads them. I really should make a copy of them someday. Looks like the last one was almost exactly a year ago too.

I just found my saga on disk. Guess I should get started again.
