Please pray for us, re: wife's mental health

greenspun.com : LUSENET : Catholic : One Thread

Hi everybody,

Yesterday with our counselor my wife and I were informed tht she has a mild form of Schitzophrenia. The way society looks at this disorder is crusing enough for her to accept. We are trying to give this to God as best we can, as well as accept it and move on.

She is a wonderful wife & mother. The way the counselor explained it was like an alcoholic. As long as the alcoholic stays away from the bottle, he is fine, but that doesn't mean that he is no longer an alcoholic. There are no major symptoms and we may actually never see any but we are asking for your prayers to live our faith in this time of discenting God's plan & will.

Thanks everybody for your support and for Building up Christ's body!

123,

Try not to worry about the way " society looks at this..." It doesn't matter how they look at anything and don't tell anyone your bussiness if this bothers you. Consider your self blessed. Your wife is a " wonderful wife and Mother". She could of been told she had a terminal cancer and then you know she would be going to die soon, and your children wouldn't even have a(wonderful) Mom or you wouldn't even have a(wonderful) wife, and you woukld have to watch her suffer and die.

You are a very blessed man. There is a tablet that will be able to help your wife I am almost sure.

Thank God that you have your " wonderful wife". She could be killed in a car accident tommorow. Don't expect life to be fair because its not!

May God bless you and your lovely family.

Pray to the Lord, Jesus Christ, for help. He is the one who will help you, if anyone. And read the Bible. If your wife is saved and believes on Jesus Christ as her Savior she will be going to a better place when she dies, she will go to heaven. John 3:3 Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God. John 3:7 Marvel not that I said unto thee, Ye must be born again. Col 1:14 In whom we have redemption through his blood, even the forgiveness of sins: Rom.5:9 Much more then, being now justified by His blood, we shall be saved from wrath through Him.
