I had the pleasure today of driving near Cordele and saw the two GA Southwestern FP-9s in great condition on a siding along with a matching passenger car set. The FP-9 livery clearly was influenced by the blue/gray CofG style, complete with a big wing on the front.

Does anyone know the history on these engines or the cars? I work with GA State Parks and am very familiar with the SAM Shortline running out of Cordele, but I don't know much about this GA Southwestern train.
