World's Most Powerful Woman

greenspun.com : LUSENET : A.M.E. Today Discussion : One Thread

Forbes Magazine has selected the top 100 of the World's Most Powerful Women and Ms. Condolezza Rice is Number 1! Imagine that; a woman of color; descended from slaves is the Most Powerful Woman in the World! The daughter of a preacherman! Number 1!

After President Bush completes his second term, we will surely nominate and elect Condolezza President of these United States! I had been speculating on what black man would be our first black president, but it will be a woman; President Condolezza Rice! Hail to the Chief!

"Forbes said that Ms Rice, 49, had "played a key, behind-the-scenes role in helping to steer the United States through two wars, as well as the resulting controversies"."

Hi All I watched Ms. Condolezza Rice on BBC world, some people her speculate that she is AME. It was good seeing a black women in such a powerful position. I don't much about her.Any one willing to inform me. She seems together

If she's nominated she's got my vote. I'll wager she'll take down Iran and/or North Korea if GW doesn't beat her to it. We'll all be safer then.

Put another way, I'd vote for her based on the content of her character rather than the color of her skin.

Not bad for a racist, demonized, moronic, servant of the devil, eh?

Well that is an interesting thought, let's see if it happens I somehow think that those demonic moronic racists, like RP (his self depicting words) will not be able to cast a vote for this woman of color when they get into the privacy of the voting booth.

But I could be wrong---NOT!

Don't write us off so soon dear Harold. Sheesh, such stereotyping. I'd like to find out a bit more on Condi's domestic and social positions, but her foreign policy stuff is outstanding.

Even if there are a few disagreements yhere though, I'm pretty sure the Dems will nominate another lib. They can't help themselves. Our loyalty to God, positions on issues, party affiliation, and antipathy toward liberalism will cause us to vote for the Republican candidate whatever their color or gender. The Dem will simply be ruled out as a matter of course.

Personally I hope Hillary gets the Dem nomination. In evangelical circles she's regarded as 2nd only the anti-Christ. We'd REALLY mobilize then, and prayer and fasting would be our mightiest weapon.
