Rear sprocket on f4

greenspun.com : LUSENET : MV Agusta F4 : One Thread

I have seen others describing rear sprockets from 40 to 43 but I just looked at mine and it came from factory with a 41...well that's what is stamped on it ...I did not count ...does it come with a 41 to begin with ?I never changed mine ...I feel I did not need to with my weight of 124 lbs...5'5"...goes pretty good now and no tickets...just wondering . Cheers Rui

Mine came with a 41 tooth and I changed it to a 43 tooth with good results. By the way Rui, my wife is 5'7" and 114lbs and I am pretty sure she can kick your ass. ;-)

By the way Rui, my wife is 5'7" and 114lbs and I am pretty sure she can kick your ass. ;-) Would that be before or after she changed sprockets?,8-)

Thank u all for the quick answers...about the wife kicking ass ...she will have to catch me first...that only happens if I run out gas (did happen be4)(not good)...but if we r including wifes for some asswhooping mine will surely win...trust me I would know (married 18 years)(that alone should explain it ) Cheers to all Rui

Hey Rui, Where upstate are you? I ride up there often, usually Catskill area but on occasion northern Adirondacks near Saranac Lake.
