VCD won't play on Samsung P-230

I have worked on TMPGENC to convert my avi files into mpge VCD format...then burnt it with NERO but doesn't work on my dvd...I have another VCD that works in it and the led for VCD lights up when I put this specific VCD...

According to the DVD Player list at http://www.dvdrhelp.com your player should support VCD on burnable media. One guy said it took up to 60 seconds for a VCD to load, so make sure you waited long enough. Possible causes are: 1) You didn't do something right in making the VCD. 2) Your player doesn't like your media. Try playing it in another model of DVD player and if it plays OK, assume #2 is the problem and burn to a different brand of media. CD-RW sometimes gives better results than CD-R and if you have a CD-RW disc, it's easy enough to try it and you can always erase later.
